With 200 days until the 46th edition of Roskilde Festival, we have an early Christmas present for you. We’re adding three new acts to our line-up that already includes names like Red Hot Chili Peppers, New Order, Foals and Wiz Khalifa.

The 46-year-old rock icon PJ Harvey is quite the game-changer in alternative music, and she is ready to revisit Roskilde. Her first albums were full of gritty, noisy rock. She since embraced the role of cool city girl, gothic ballad singer and protest singer with just as much conviction. PJ Harvey is finishing up a brand-new album which will see the light of day in 2016. We’re looking forward to welcoming Polly Jean back for another triumphant gig at Roskilde.

Tenacious D has played nothing but sold-out shows in Denmark, so next stop for the self-proclaimed rock gods Jack Black and Kyle Gass is a big-scale rock show on our biggest stage, Orange Stage. Filled with humour Tenacious D’s songs are a loving tribute to rock's best incarnations. You can find cues from both Led Zeppelin, The Who and Queen. It's no wonder that Dave Grohl is a fan and has insisted on playing the drums on all their recordings. Get ready for a show full of fierce strum-offs, funny stage antics and pure rock'n'roll!

We’ve always appreciated the beautiful dream-pop sounds from Blaue Blume who made their Roskilde debut this year on our stage for new talents, Rising. Their debut album Syzygy came out recently and it’s a strong Danish album of the year contender. Since the Roskilde show Blaue Blume has sold out several shows in Denmark, and their grandiose and atmospheric dream pop is also picking up lots of attention abroad. Blaue Blume has transformed from underground phenomenon to widely acknowledged sensation when they return to Roskilde Festival in 2016.

Including today’s announcements, a total of 32 acts have now been added to the line-up. Further 143 acts will be announced in the coming months.

Tenacious D is pretty cool. I'm not a fan of PJ Harvey myself but a quality booking for sure.

PJ Harvey was one of my wishes. REALLY solid booking.

Tenacious D is funny. But is it good? Hm..

Think the headliners looks a bit weak this year.

Pj harvey and Tenacious D as headliners? Two really good bookings, but as headliners? Hopefully just temporary until they find something bigger, Foals were listed as headliner before so.

PJ headlined in 2011. I dont think she is a small name in 16 then she where in 11. And The D is a lot bigger name in Denmark then she is. They sold out TAP1 very fast

PJ and Tenacious D are great bookings. Nothing "must-see" for me, but things are definitely looking better.

Blaue Blume were expected after the great reviews they've received.

But if we have 5 headliners now(which I agree in) then they must have something bigger up next year. For me it doesn't look like the most expensive headliners - But maybe thats just me

Tenacious D and PJ Harvey are solid bookings. Personally not on my must-see list, which still makes Roskilde 2016 the worst line-up so far for me.
