We have spoken about them in other post but now it have been offical that they will play Open Air st. Gallen ( http://www.openairsg.ch/ ) with is the same days as Roskilde and in Portugal a week after. So looks more and more like a good guess on a headliner for Roskilde

I agree. They seem to be pretty realistic for a Roskilde headliner spot.
Personally I don't need to see them though.

Come on, Roskilde. Give me a reason to go. I cannot think of a better booking. This should happen!

I really think the announcement could happen any minute now. The medias are speculating as well. They made a statement quite quickly regarding Guns N' Roses. It's the same rumours that are happening right now.
Would absolutely love this booking!

They just said in a comment on the "21 new acts Monday2-picture: "Radiohead is not among those 21 bands. Radiohead is not likely to be available for us this year" or something like that

I'm SO hoping for Radiohead, even if the Festival itself considers it unlikely at this point. I would buy my ticket in a heartbeat. I'm stoked to see Tame Impala in the lineup (despite the whole headliner debacle), but Radiohead would be such an incredible booking and would save me a trip to Barcelona.

GAFFA (Danish music magazine) is speculating in a Roskilde concert as Radiohead just have announced 2016 tour with no Danish dates yet availability around the festival. Just hopes and speculations 8-)

GAFFA is a bunch of (hopeful, but) uninformed hacks who are producing copious amounts of clickbait and not much else. The festival has more or less ruled Radiohead out via Facebook.

Roskilde elaborates on Facebook – nice with a thorough answer:

Quote:

Loose translation:

We've followed Radiohead very closely, and thus it is all the more of a pity that their plans don't match up with a concert at Roskilde this summer. They've elected to play fewer and smaller festivals this year. We can only guess that they want to find their feet and gear a little up before taking on bigger shows.
