From the looks of it Mr. Gilmour has a nice gap in his tour during Roskilde. Does anyone think he'll slide through as a huge headliner?

Sure hope so. Could be the "super headliner" we're waiting for.

I'd be hugely disappointed if neither he or Neil Young was announced (although Gilmour would draw a bigger crowd; Neil Young wouldn't, objectively, be a "super").

Or at least The Who.
that would extraordinary superb! But..... I don't think it will happen. He's touring just very special and unusual venues. Historical spots and city squares and some amphitheatres in smaller cities. But let's hope for the best. And his lights/movies/lazers show would fit to orange stage very well. His own stage is very similar... But I still think it's not going to happen. This way I wont be disappointed!
Considering Denmark is the only country in the general area of his tour zigzaging from Ireland to Italy through Scandinavia, Im going to bet he is a dead cert for RF, If he is not announced Im willing to eat my hat (or drink a six pack of Budweiser equally hard to swallow in my opinion.) 8-)
....and why would he start his European tour doing just three shows (1 Wroclaw 2 wien) and then one week break before italy shows. That doesn't make sense. There's not one week breaks any other time when he's touring. Maybe it's happening... Roskilde! No I still don't believe it.

nah.. budweiser isn't that bad! If it's cold.
Its a great hangover cure if its the only beer left in the fridge at comedown time the next day after a party. (PS I was talking about Neil Young being a dead cert not Dave Gilmore on previous post , would have helped if I had stuck his name in.)
oh yes. just looked his tour plan and it's so obvious roskilde gap there. I'm gonna eat 10 oxburgers if he is not announced april 6. not a sensational booking i have to say. and Im talking about neil young here.
...and I'm talking about oxburger full meals here.
Hope we are both right , im not a burger person myself but will swap 5 cans of bud for 1 oxburger
Time ill tell. who has fell and who is left behind. ?
Just spoke to my aunt, who is a personal friend of David Gilmour since way back in the 70's. She told me that he is actually decided to play Skanderborg Festival this summer. He felt it was more fitting for his profile, and also had a more enthusiastic crowd.
