No it wan't.

Solange is also moved up as a headliner
Nice to see Popcaan there, more new Jamaican artists please.
Luckily its my day off so I´m digging into their spotify playlist atm.

I´m ashamed to admit that I only know a few Father John Misty songs but I really like what I hear :-)
Horrible announcement. Moon Duo and that jazz-band Boujeloud go to my list, nothing more for me. Elza Soares might be too old, but if she´s got a decent band behind her I might check that out too. Hope to find something more on the second look-through...
how can it be horrible if you don´t know any of them :-)

Its not the big name announcement but I can by the first glimse find 4-5 names I might see.
Hm, so far this is not a year for me personally. I begin to feel really worried. Of todays band only Moon Duo and Bonobo really got me excited. Maybe find some hidden gems in there as well. But overall this line up is really weak for me. Sad to se that both Afghan Whigs and Ride play Northside. Those (and lots more) are the type of bands needed at Roskilde.

Well, most of you seem to enjoy this years line-up so i guess i'm just gettin old. 2017 gonna be my 23rd Roskilde and of course i'm aiming for at least 25 so see you there!

Group Doueh ought to be your cup too.

Just gave Boujeloud a spin, and it sounds like what I think is the worst of jazz. I do not get Roskildes fascination with having the most experimental / free jazzy bands within the Jazz spehere. If you want 1-2 Jazz-bands on the poster, why go for Mats Gustafsson (again) and this Boujeloud :( . What about Esperanza Spalding, Kamasi Washington or a Roy Hargrove project like RH Factor that would actually be able to draw people in at a concert. I just do not get it.

They did have BadBadNotGood last year, but that was disappointing to the majority of the audience I felt, as they were expecting the hip-hop fusion (myself included).
Under Fatima Yamaha the wollowing is written:

"If you’re a fan of sounds from acts such as Daft Punk, Bicep (also playing Roskilde 2017) and Lindstrøm,"

Did Roskilde just announce another act lol :P

Yes, maybe that one will be on my schedule as well. Have to check them out more thoroughly.

As for that jazz, I like those kind of not-so-smooth kind of bands. Maybe Boujeloud are too close to Svin, whom we already had on the poster, but can´t complain really (about that, that is). :)
I am happy to see A Day to Remember , but also Sort Sol, Full of hell & BAEST - but I realy need Roskilde to start booking some more good hiphop soon
Moon Duo: Fuck yes.

Sort Sol: Asked for them yesterday when NS announced them. THANKS.

Boujeloud: Seems interesting

GROUP DOUEH & CHEVEU: The description got me VERY excited.

Dør Nr. 13: Rising name. Won "Karrierekanonen" last year. Interesting post punk.
After a quick listening I have some bands I might going to see or at least look more into.

Father John Misty
Bonobo
Sort Sol
Bjarki
Fatima Yamaha
Kink
Mechatok
The Rumour Said Fire
